George Hadi Santoso started his career with DuPont in 2005 as Business Development Manager of PT DuPont Indonesia in Jakarta, oversees the Emerging Market Strategy project to tap to new market opportunities and grow the new businesses in Indonesia where six strategic business units took part in the project.
He was then promoted to Country Managing Director of DuPont in Indonesia in July 2006, while still in charge of Country Business Development role.
Prior to DuPont, George Hadi Santoso holds various management positions in chemical manufacturer as well as chemical distribution companies.
He earned his Bachelor Degree from Institut Teknologi Indonesia, majoring in Industrial Engineering.

Nenny Soemawinata was born in India on 31st of January 1954. She spent most of her early years living overseas and came home to Indonesia after completing her studies at the Auckland Technical Institute, New Zealand, in Computer Programming in 1976.
Nenny started her career by joining the hotel industry for five years and then led her to enter the advertising world and join Fortune Advertising. She was promoted to Account Supervisor within six months and then became Account Director two years later.
During her time in advertising she handled many local and multi-national accounts, including Sampoerna, Prodenta/L’Oreal, RJ Reynolds and Nestle. After 5 years in local agency, she expanded her horizon by joining a larger and more reputable agency, Indo-Ad / Ogilvy & Mather, and became President Director.
In February 1996, she faced news challanges by joining a private commercial station, ANTEVE, owned by Bakrie family as Marketing Director. She was then promoted to General Manager and CEO in December 1996. Her entrance in to the television network didn’t stop here. She later on then joined other networks such as RCTI as Director of Operations, and later in 2001 form a Content Provider & Consultancy Company, M-Lynx. She then with a partner formed a wireless/ mobile content provider & solutions, Mobilelynx.
At the end of 2005, working with leading media group, MRA group, she helped built their TV channel, O Channel. In 2008, she was employed by UTV Malaysia to assist in developing a second pay TV service.
In 2009, Nenny joined Putera Sampoerna Foundation as the Managing Director and COO. Under her leadership the company evolved from a philanthropic organization into a social business institution and expanding its business core from education to empowerment, not only of students, but of teachers, women and entrepreneurs. The Foundation has gone from focusing on access to education to improving existing schools and on to the development of international standard boarding academies and tertiary institutions, as well as teacher enhancement programs and beyond.

Nikolaos Papathanasiou joined Philip Morris International Inc. in 2002 in Athens, at the Greek affiliate of the company (Philip Morris Hellas). He assumed a number of senior positions at several PMI affiliates in the areas of Finance, Business Development, and Corporate Affairs.
Before joining Sampoerna, he was Director Corporate Affairs for the EU Region, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Master Of Business Administration in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, UK.

Holy Ranaivozanany is the head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Huawei. In this role, she is responsible for philanthropy and social initiatives supported and implemented by Huawei in its whole footprint – more than 170 countries, including the strategy, communication and profile-raising initiatives and the engagement with stakeholders.
Prior to joining Huawei in 2011, she was in charge of CSR in Africa, Middle-East and Asia for Orange, a French-headquartered telecommunications operator. She held several positions at Orange, including as a Culture Change and Human Resources project manager and as a Marketing Analyst for Orange UK (currently Everything Everywhere).
Holy Ranaivozanany holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from EDHEC Business School in France.

Erin Gavin is Senior Manager of Government Affairs for Qualcomm Incorporated. In this role, Erin manages Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach™ initiatives in Southeast Asia and supports programs in Africa and India. Her focus is on women and entrepreneurship and she leads Wireless Reach’s global marketing and event efforts as well as annual proposal process.

Christopher leads Corporate Engagement and Government Relations for Monsanto Asia-Pacific, and is a member of the Asia-Pacific Region Leadership Team (APLT). He is responsible for leading the Company’s Sustainability, Corporate Philanthropy, Stakeholder Engagement & Corporate Marketing Strategy, Partnerships and Programs, towards improving farmers’ lives and achieving sustainability in agriculture. He also Co-Leads the industry association - CropLife Asia’s Advocacy Committee. In his role, he works to engage and energize a diverse set of stakeholders on the need, challenges and solutions for and farmers’ progress and sustainability of food and agriculture.
Chris is passionate about the potential of farmers and agriculture for Asia and the planet, and contribution of innovative products, services, partnerships and people to help improve lives.
Prior to this role, Chris led Sustainability, CSR, Public Affairs & Corporate Marketing for Monsanto’s India Region; and earlier Marketing Lead for the biotech cotton business – a role which included rural marketing of the Bollgard brand of in-the-seed insect protection technologies, corporate marketing to commemorate India’s cotton revolution, and developing marketing strategy to meet farmers’ needs in insect protection and weed management with Monsanto’s third-generation biotechnologies.
His earlier roles included leading Public Affairs for Monsanto India, and communications for ABLE-AG and CropLife Asia - the biotech industry associations in India and Asia-Pacific. Prior to it, he was General Manager at Madison Public Relations where he led the Procter & Gamble business, gaining experience in consulting with a number of companies in the areas of influencer marketing and brand PR, corporate image, cause-related marketing & social responsibility, issue management, and industry communications. He began his career with Eudekh International - Shell Marine Lubricants’ sole distributor in India, in 1994.
Christopher has received several awards & recognitions in his career incl. Monsanto’s Global Marketing Excellence Award, 2012; Monsanto Excellence in Leadership Award, 2011; P&G Medal of Honour for Outstanding Performance, 2006; P&G Special Appreciation Award for Outstanding Contribution, 2003, 2005, 2006; P&G Special Appreciation Award for Breakthrough PR Campaigns, 2001, 2003, 2004.
Christopher is also co-founder of Q Theatre Productions (QTP) - a theatre company, and Thespo - India’s premier youth theatre festival. Born in Mumbai, he lived the first six years of his life in Dar-es-salaam, Africa; then in India, and now in Singapore. He is passionate about football, drumming, theatre, tigers and nature; and holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in English Literature, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications with a specialization in Public Relations - both from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai University.

Elvera Nuriawati Makki (Vera) joined Mercedes-Benz Indonesia in August 2012 as Deputy Director Corporate Communication & Public Affairs (the name of Public Affairs changed to External Affairs in 2014). Reported directly to the President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, she leads the department and is responsible for external communication, internal communication, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and government relations.
Under her leadership, the reputation of Mercedes-Benz Indonesia is further strengthened as the leader in premium automotive industry. She manages PR strategy and elevates media relations especially with the automotive and lifestyle media. Vera also enlivens the internal communication within the company including the factory through various channels such as internal magazine, email blast, and internal event activation.
In the area of CSR, she created employee volunteer program to be embedded in the CSR strategy. Together with her team, she created ‘Starlight’ concept, which meaning is inspired by the Mercedes-Benz logo of three pointed star. Starlight Crew is referred to the employees who actively participate in the employee volunteer program while Starlight Children is designated to the beneficiaries of the CSR pillar on education. The campaign “Starlight Children for a Brighter Future” has engaged 10 elementary schools, 138 teachers, and 4746 students.
Before working at Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, Vera earned extensive experiences in communication for more than 15 years. She started her career as a radio announcer at Ardan FM (1995-1998) when she was pursuing a bachelor degree in International Relations at Catholic Parahyangan University, Bandung, West Java. She received merit scholarship from University of Houston, Texas, US in English literature for one year, after which Vera returned to Jakarta and worked as Public Relations Officer at the five-star Hotel Mulia Senayan. In the late 1999, Vera took the challenge to become a PR Consultant at Ogilvy Public Relations worldwide where she handled clients in IT for brand PR and state-owned enterprises for crisis management. In 2005, she joined Indo Pacific Reputation Management Consultant (now Edelman Public Relations) as the Public Affairs Manager.
Her career stepped up to PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk. in 2006 as External Communication Assistant Manager for hygiene and personal care brands and immediately in two years she was promoted to be Internal Communication Manager. In 2007, Vera led the Unilever communication team to be the winner of Stevie Awards for The Best Communication Team. Stevie Awards is perceived as the Oscar in business industry where Donald Trump is one of the final judges.
In 2010, Vera earned Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) from International Association of Business Communicators headquartered in San Francisco, US. Among hundreds of ABC recipients worldwide, Vera became the first Indonesian who earned the accreditation.
In 2011, Vera accepted the challenge to be Corporate Affairs Manager at Fonterra Brands Indonesia, a dairy multi-national company from New Zealand. Her responsibility includes external communication, internal communication, CSR, and government relations. She was also a lecturer at University of Indonesia, Communication Science Department, Social and Political Faculty in 2010-2013 for international dual degree in communication.
In her personal life, Vera established Taman Baca Anak Lebah (Bee Children Reading Garden), a non-profit, non-political initiative with a mission to instill a love of reading of Indonesian children starts at early age. The main activity is to donate free children story books to eastern part of Indonesia which is now located in 30 areas (Lombok, Trenggalek, Ambon, Saparua island, Seram island, and Wakatobi). After five years of running the libraries, Vera initiated a campaign named #SemangatiGuru (Encouraging Teacher), a crowd funding program to help teachers attaining supporting materials in teaching in the classroom. Enjoy story-telling for an international school during spare time, she believes that making an impact to surroundings can start from a small step.
